The TUM opens the bags for removal of the tubs in accordance with pharmaceutical standards. The tub is pushed out of the bag and transferred through an airlock to the machine downstream without any direct contact. The bags are collected in a bin integrated in the machine base for easy disposal.

No-Touch-Transfer

  • The No Touch Transfer process ensures GMP-compliant transfer into the Class A area of pre-sterilized packaging materials in double bags.
  • Additional process steps, such as disinfection and bio-decontamination, are not required during NTT into the class-A area.
  • The NTT process meets the requirements outlined in EU GMP Annex 1 and the Quality Risk Management Guideline ICH Q9.
